But moments after she closes her eyes, her rest is broken. An intruder—silent and unknown—appears beside her. Before she can react, a hand clamps firmly over her mouth, cutting off her scream. Shock and confusion rush through her as the stranger orders her to stay quiet.

He makes her call her friend back. Struggling to keep her voice steady, Phoenix cancels their plans, giving an excuse that sounds thin even to her own ears—but her friend doesn’t question it. As soon as the call ends, the intruder takes control, leading her out of the house and to a secluded shed on his property.

Inside, the space is dim, unsettling, and clearly prepared for confinement. He restrains her and applies a thick over-the-mouth gag to keep her silent. Phoenix is left captive, frightened, and unsure of his motives, the muffled echoes of her attempted pleas lost in the small, claustrophobic room.
